Quality Test and Smart Meter Reference Laboratory

Overview

Quality Test Laboratory of NRI has started its activities since 6th Sep. 2003. Besides testing the quality of electrical & electronic products, it provides designers and manufacturers the ability of being in compliance with standards. In order to complete the tests and also perform tests of smart meter, two separate labs started to operate in 2005 and 2011.

Mission

Combining leading technical and operational expertise, risk methodology, and in-depth industry knowledge, QT Lab reinforces its customer’s decisions and actions with trust and confidence.

Lab focuses specifically on the following areas:

Implementation sample and type tests of single-phase and three-phase digital and smart meters
The design tests and type tests on electronic equipment and telecommunications industry as RTU, PLC, controller, measurement center, and, etc according to national and international standards.
Implementation of functional tests on Electricity Smart meters according to interoperability documents
